open yahoo messager, click on file option. then click add / remove profile. it will open new page with user information. click on edit. it will ask for ur image... uplode it and save the changes at the end of making changes.

The picture has to be approved by yahoo. Is it a appropriate picture? If not that may be the reason. If not you may have to uninstall your Yahoo program and reinstall Yahoo. Sometimes that will work. Then down load your profiled picture. I never had any trouble with changing my profile picture.

Sorry, I was wondering the same thing, I made an Avatar and it's not showing up in Answers. Wish I knew what to do.
