Hi I was on clomid this cycle along with metformin. My doc detected PCOS in May and this cycle she told me to have sex from 3rd july - 13th july( i know 10 days is not a fertile period but just to be sure.). I am not sure when does ovulation takes place and when would i get the result of an hpt. I did an HPO on 18th(today is 20th) and it was negative. also i noticed hurting boobs around 5 days back but now they are not the same. I have no AF symptoms just that there are little cramps that i get off and on..
Can anybody guide me with this, also if u have any more questions, i would write them in additional details simultaneously.

We tried a couple runs of Clomid and a IUI, with no success. We then bought one of those over the counter ovulation test kits, and it worked. I think you pee on a stick every morning and put it into the little machine. It gives you a Hi-Med-Lo of where your ovulation occurs. We were guessing way to late in the cycle prior to that (by using temperature only). Good Luck !
