The infamous "plug".I beleive I have either started losing this ..im notreally sure..i know thats what it was ..so howlong till your water breaks after this? OR...well..what comes after this..HOW big is this thing if you lose the whole thing just so i knwo where i stand ?

ok how big is this supposed to be..what i found was about the size of a "mento" ya know the candy..?

There is no way to know. You could lose the plug after you are already in labor, or you could go weeks after losing it. Sorry...

I lost my plug in the shower the night before I was supposed to be induced. I went to the hospital that night. The next morning my doctor broke my water at about 7:15 and I gave birth at 2:59pm. My labor seemed pretty quick since it was my first child!

My water broke within a half hour of losing my mucus plug. The plug had some blood in it and was about the size of a round quarter.

You can lose it a week before you go into actual labor it varies on the individual. I lost mine 48 hours before I went into labor and my water never actually broke I just slowly leaked fluid. I would call the doctor and ask what he/she wants you to do.

My sister lost her plug at about 7 months but her doctor told her not to worry because, it does grow back. When my water broke i did not even see my plug.

It just depends some people lose it right before , and some people los it 3 weeks before it depends on your body. theres really no way to tell your baby will come out when she's ready even though it hard on you.

every1s different. I was induced, and lost the plug about 12 hours later, and had my waters broken about 2 hours later, so my labour was forced really??!!

i lost my mucus plug in bits and pieces - pieces were a bit bigger than you described. you will definately know it when you see it. it might also be a bit blood stained. mine came down the fri and i eventually gave birth on the mon.

honey.. I lost mine a month in the previous i went into hard artwork... the two circumstances! my water had to be broke the 1st time... and the 2d i became into drowsing in the mattress and approximately 3 in the morning I awoke in a puddle...ewewewewew!
