Here we go. :) So we'll be fooling around in bed and such, not having sex, just making out and kissing and petting and the like and he's fine. Then we'll get up to go get food or something, and he'll start "hurting". He can't stand up straight for a while and it hurts to walk. So my question is...Why does this happen? Is it because he doesn't get to "relieve" himself? And then why does he not hurt while we're fooling around? I think the answer to the latter is because of how aroused he is but....any answers would be loved. :)

Its cause you probably gave him 'Blue Balls'
Blue balls is a slang term for a temporary fluid congestion in the testicles and prostate region caused by prolonged sexual arousal in the human male. It is most commonly associated with adolescents but can occur in any sexually mature male. It is often accompanied by a cramp-like ache of prostatic congestion and pain/tenderness of the testes.
The main cause of blue balls is prolonged sexual stimulation of the erect penis, either by direct or indirect contact, that does not result in orgasm and ejaculation.

During arousal in a sexually mature male, the sympathetic nervous system decreases its inputs to the genital tissues, resulting in increased blood flow to the testicles and prostate areas. As this happens, other fluid outflow muscles constrict, causing more bodily fluid to enter the area than leave, ensuring a high enough regional blood pressure to allow a sustained erection for penetration during sexual intercourse.

If orgasm is not achieved, blood and lymphatic fluid tend to pool, and the blood becomes oxygen deprived. In some men, this pooling of oxygen-starved blood may result in a bluish tint to the scrotum.

Men with priapism or orchalgia may experience an extreme, prolonged form of blue balls, which may require medical attention

My first boyfriend had the same problem. I had never been with a man so I could not understand it. I think that he got so aroused and when I did not know how to help him out without putting me to the danger zone of actually having sex...and that was out of question for me. He said that his balls were hurting so much that it was hard to walk. He did not tell me that in that moment. He told me later that we need to take it easier if we are not going to have sex because he wants me so much, and when there is no relieve for him, he is really hurting.

It's called "blue balls". It happens when blood builds up in the scrotum during sexual foreplay, and if he doesn't have an orgasm, it causes pain because of the pressure/not having release of the sexual tension... Sorry I'm not the best at explaining things but I tried!
And of course, it's more noticible AFTER the fact of messing around.
Don't let him use this as a reason for having sex. i.e. "Oh baby, I need to do it, or else my blue balls will burst!!"
He has two hands, let him take care of it himself! :P

Poor guy. If he can't deal with the fire, he needs to stay out of the kitchen. What you have described is one of the oldest arguments in the book for trying to get a girl/woman to give in to sex--not to say that he's not telling the truth. If you're not ready to have sex with him, don't do it! And if you're not ready, you're both playing with fire, "fooling around in bed and such."

Why are you fooling around if you don't intent to have sex? Typical woman attempting to control a man by not having sex. Good going! Either have sex with him or stop "fooling around" fool! Your boyfriend is not going to wait around too much longer especially with all this teasing going on, I know I wouldn't.

The term I've always used and heard is "blue-balls"....this comes about because of arousal without relief. Masturbation is a good cure for this.

When wearing clothes, we can't stand up straight until we lose our erection.
