Well, I believe that Iverson is in the same situation as Kevin Garnett. They are both very talented players, whose careers are starting to wind down, and their teams cannot win.
Yes, Iverson should be traded, but to whom? He earns 20 mill. a year and how much longer can his body hold up?
I look for him to either stay in Philly or go to Boston, but honestly I dont see him going anywhere.
Iversons style of play would change any teams chemistry ad style of play dramatically, and I cant think of a lot of teams that want that right now.
The most realistic thing is trading Webber, and putting different pieces around Iverson, but I doubt whatever they do, that it will end up with Iverson winning a title.
But hell, what do I know? Trade him straight up for Kobe...that would at least turn some heads.

He loves Philly. Philly loves him. I would not go to a Sixers game unless a superstar was on the team (ALLEN IVERSON). Allen Iverson is not just an allstar/superstar, he sells tickets. Plus, the Sixers salary cap is messed up. It is better to trade Chris Webber. Lastly, with or without AI, Sixers will not win in a long time.

even as Kevin Garnett heard that Allen Iverson changed into going to be traded he stated, "sh*t, deliver it on, sh*t i like the answer, sh*t who does no longer opt to play with the answer, Sh*t, the position's kevin Mchale(T'wolves GM)." i'm from minnesota and function continuously been a huge Iverson fan, in truth he inspired me kinda like KG changed into insired by using magic johnson. interior the pioneer press on the prompt they'd 4 plausible gives you, and the acceptable one may be mike james, Randy Foye, and Ricky Davis, yet i like RD and do not opt to be certain him be traded, except it is the only thanks to deliver Iverson to minnesota. Philadelphia's president of operations already stated that they'll commerce Iverson, and Micheal Jordan, who now's the GM of the bobcats favor's him, and the bobcats have extra cap room than the different crew, that may be the position Iverson is headed if the sixers opt to rebuild their francise. i imagine he ought to finally end up in both boston for Wally Szczerbiak, or Golden State for Baron Davis, yet my money is on Charlotte because next years draft is a sturdy one and they could continuously finally end up with the variety one draft %. and then even as webbers contract is up they could have a lot, and that i recommend a tremendous kind of cap room.

Yes, he needs a team and a crowd that appreciates his worth. Too bad for a guy who competes every game and still facing rumors, false-faced stories from his own town. Also, for a player with such responsibilty to score, with no other player who wants to take the ball to the glass, it was not his fault. Try to play a game, you'll find out what I mean.

He should get traded. Good for Sixers, good for him.
There is no more chemistry between him and Sixers. Even 76ers acquired Chris Webber last season, still didn't work. In contrast, it totally ruined the career of Chris Webber.
In the view of 76ers, this is absolutely good for them. Trade out A.Iverson can have a bright future.
In the view of A.I., it really doesn't matter. If he won't change his selfish and self-concentrated basketball style, he never get a NBA championship ring forever.

Tough question. He keeps saying he wants to stay but how much of that is rhetoric? It probably would be better for him but Philly has handled the situation poorly and is probably in a no win situation. Should they trade him? No.

No keep his *** in Philly. So is punk *** will never win a championship. Any player in the NBA could average 30.0 points a game if they jacked up 40 shots a night

yes, he has 3 years and 60 million left on his contract. he is aging, and at 31, he is going downhill now. move him to boston, get some young talent and develop it into a playoff team.
