Is it just me or is the ps2 getting boring games-wise? I know the games are getting better but I want the bloody ps3 to come out already lol. Also, the xbox360's release a year before ps3 is not helping seeing these great graphics. San Andreas was great, but graphics crap, for example. MGS3 was simply not allowing much freedom for a jungle as well - I just think ps2 games are already last generation - we need something strong.

You didn't see any graphics Lewis R, you just saw cut scenes. The PS3 graphics suck! they gitter and look almost like ps2. This person i know use to be a hard core sony fan but after the PS3 convention he was deeply disapointed. All you sony fans don't even know what your talking about! Xbox 360 and Wii is alot better then the PS3.

GO XBOX 360 AND Wii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't see the point in complaining. There are still many great games to play on the PS2. There are also still many great games on their way. You say San Andreas was great, then complain about the graphics. And what about MGS3? It may have been limited in its free roam abilities, but did you have FUN? I consider myself to be a gaming veteran of sorts. I've played on almost every system all the way back to the Colecovision, and I must say that the graphics of games aren't where the fun is to be found. As long as a title has a good game-play mechanic and possibly even just a good storyline, it will immerse you in what you're playing and you will enjoy it even more. Do I really need to see individual leaves on trees or have my main character's eyes dilate when the lighting changes? No. I want fun. So, don't kick your PS2 to the curb just yet, it may still have a hit or two up its sleeve.

The problem with Playstation and Xbox is that they have succumbed to the massive market boom over the last few years. Consequently we have a market flooded with generic games most of which are complete shite. There may be a massive catalogue of games for PS2 but how many of them would you actually play and enjoy?

Thankfully, Nintendo continue to keep things fresh. Yes, they have many generic games in their catalogue too but the first party games are far better than anything produced anywhere else. Full of innovation and experimentation. Definately the choice of the hardcore gamer.

well i wouldnt suggest getting a X-box 360 cause they burn out when you play it for a long time and thier memory cards get fryed when when xbox 360 burns out. And because the PS3 is takeing so long to made is it is trying to work out the kinks so that it can run Way WAY better graphics.

One of the amazeing games that will be for PS3 is Final Fantasy XIII and it has GREAT graphics ive seen a video clip

Go to your local game shop. Ask them for every Ratchet and Clank game they have. Give the person behind the desk some money. Go home with your new games. Discover gaming perfection.
