Try walking barefoot in your back yard everyday for at least half an hour for a few weeks and observe whether the hair growth still persists. My feeling is that your foot has become too soft and due to the soft and tenderness of the foot, the hair follicles have started growing. By walking bare foot, the hair follicles get stunted and the foot becomes harder. This should solve your problem.

A common occurence among north american indians they are not as you say, little white hairs they are in fact young feathers, whatever you do do not pull them out, as in six months time you will have enough to make a duvet.

I wouldn't worry about them.

Stop pulling them and the pain will stop too.
