For that matter, I am a christian too if it matters. But i just think there is more to christianity than what is "available". Don't you think ?

As to "spirituality" and laziness, think there might be some truth to it.

Just feel very sad that christianity is so lacking in the interior life.

Because being a Christian and going to church does not make you spiritual. Spirituality is something each person must develop on their own from within themselves, and most people are just too lazy to do that as being spiritual requires effort and commitment. It's much easier for them to go to church and let the minister tell them what to believe then it is to seek the truth for themselves.

Well, why do some people try to make the world a better place? Why do others try to terrorize others? True, Christians can be ignorant, but so is every other religious or non-religious person. Christians aren't the only ones who seem ignorant. They're just the ones being called out all the time (by people just like you, no offense). Christianity is surrounded by traditions and rituals (plus all the material wants VS needs), and sometimes people get too caught up by them, which was exactly why some people who still wanted to keep their faith but without all the hokey-pokey, hence the Protestant Reformation. Not all Christians are like that, it's just that most of them are. Because they are humans too, they got to see something to believe it. But Christianity is just the opposite, so instead they have to believe in what they cannot see. And that is rather difficult. Even a small child has to show his best friend his new Transformer toy in order for his friend to believe it.

Wrong. They always remember the holy spirit. Perhaps you may be referring to the philosophical matters. Anyway, spiritual matters is only for those who believe in renouncing whatever materialistic attachment you have and christianity do not believe in this principle.

Too many born-again Christians take everything too literally, resulting in a paranoia that is both humorous and a bit scary. There are also those that don't bother to learn the dogma of their own church, like waaay too many Catholics I know.
