The swastika was an ancient civilization's symbol that resembled our sun that they worshipped. The Nazi salute was the symbol of the hand being raised to our sun. Both were the symbols for sun worshippers by an ancient South American civilization centuries ago! Hitler was the one who decided to use those symbols for the Nazi movement. Very clever!! What's your opinion?

The swastika is an ancient symbol used by many cultures. Even the American Indians.

In fact there is a business in the downtown area of Fort Smith Arkansas that literally has dozens of Swastikas on the front of the building facing the street. Historians have researched the building and it turns out the symbols were painted there by the US GOVERNMENT!!! It was the office of the indian agent for the local area. And the symbol was used because at the time the indians of the area did not read or write in english.

The symbol represents mysticism and power to many cultures. In fact the ancient Aryans whom Hitler wanted to claim to be a descendant of, used the symbol extensively.

I do not know of any "SUN" worship during the Nazi regime.
