I think people still associate Homosexuals with pedophiles.
I saw this public service movie from the fifties, that was shown in schools. It was about pedophiles lurking in bathrooms and attemts to befriend boys, but the movie never used the word pedophile. Every time they should have used the word pedophile they used the word homosexual.
Society is scared of our little girls being raped and abused, but since most abusers of girls are men we have clear boundaries betwen girls and men. Men and girls never undress in front of each other, they don't share showers, or pee right next to each other. Men and boys do shower together, pee standing right next to each othe, and undress in each othehrs presence.
I think the anger displayed is a projection of their fears that they are allowing this to happen buy not showing their anger.
Oler people grew up watching thest movies, and its hard for them to stop "trying to protect thier boys". Younger people didn't see these movies, but nevertheless are conditioned by their parents to have the gut reaction of hate toward gays.

i agree with you, people often tend to look at the out side of people by judging them by there clothing or Even by there sexuality, but they should get to know that person better before judging the.
