I'm not being sexist, but I was wondering what girls' views on games and gaming consoles was? Are they boring to girls in general or do quite a few girls play their playstation or whatever on a regular basis?

I play the PS2 as much as my husband...granted, my game choices differ from his. I like race games, sports games, the Jak series, and Ratchet and Clank series...he's more into Resident Evil, God Of War, and Prince of Persia...he's gotten into my Kindom Hearts games though :D.

Anyways, I own quite a few consoles and I love gaming. Damn Animal Crossing has been like CRACK to me the last couple days though. It's too weird to put down...
I have no idea what most girls are like. I gave up on most girls a long time ago.

im a girl and my favorite x box games are the suffering, both far cry games, and Tony Hawks American Wasteland. I like Need for Speed Most Wanted, but thats for the 360, so I think theres probably lots of girls that like games just as much as guys

i think some girls are more gamers than a lot of boys, but i think also that generally u have a point, don't know if this is because of upbringing or society cultures, but one thing is for sure; to all you girls out there u r missing on a lot if u don't play games :D, definately beats shopping and stuff (also less costy) :)

it kinda depends on the girl. i like gaming, especially racing and games like mario and crash bandicoot that aren't all gorey. and pokemon, my guilty pleasure that i'm way too old for. although halo would be fun if i could get used to the freakin controller. most of the girly girls will enjoy at least mario kart type stuff.

My wife plays her DS almost everyday. Nothing hardcore or mainstream. Mainly just Uno or Brain Age. She's a casual gamer.

well it all depends on what kind of girl she is if shes like you then she might like games or if you are a big gamer then she might pick up trying to play a game. if that happens then you can teach her and get a Check on relationship if you know what i mean.

I really hate it when my boyfriend plays video games. He's already a year younger than me and it just makes him seem even younger. But I think they can be pretty fun when it's the right game [[and the right time!]]

im a girl and i cant stand these games especially the fast ones they make me feel dizzy and sick- i used to love the old platform games though
