Well, technically, it is physical, and it is connected to the rest of you, so yes, it is part of your body.
Who we are, as far as personality and individuality goes, is a product not just of our bodies, but also of the environment and experience.
If you're aiming at what people call the "soul". Well that's a tricky thing to locate, provided that we can not "see it", though some claim to be able to.

The "mind" is an abstract construct, created at a time when the scientific community had little information concering how the brain works and what it's functions are. In fact, there was a time when people believed that thoughts and emotions came from the heart...which led to many of the novel adages we still hear to this day, such as "I didn't have the heart to tell her," or " my heart just wasn't into the relationship anymore."
The cognitive functions of our brains are essentially the stuff of the "mind." Therefore, to answer your question, the mind is a product of your body (the brain).

Good Question.
Is our thinking part "mind" separate from our living part "body" ?
I think it is just a product or part of our body.

We know that our thoughts are stored in our Brain - as known that serious damage to our brain can kill our memory.
And the fact is that our brain is a physical part.

This question is related to the question if Mind / Soul - our identity that travels beyond life and death - exists. That makes the story a long one to ponder.

Some say fragmentation is wrong. And since we are doing it better doing it right. Body is the product of mind and mind has the body. Mind is unlimited and body is the condense mind.
Very hard question and I love it. Wondering if body and mind can be love?

The body is just a physical 'house' for your mind or soal. when we are through here we throw it away like the trash that it is, and our real being, or our soul, moves on to other worlds.

i imagine that intelligence, favor, anger, mind's eye and the body are alll thoroughly diverse beings. the spirit of the body continues to be alive for eternity notwithstanding, the body dies. the spirit feeds on the first 4 issues and also you may want to keep it in stability with Intelligence (accurate vs. incorrect) being the acceptable and heaviest interior the steadiness.
