Not me. I'm a Democrat AND a Patriot who believes in our system and supports our elected leaders. Oh, I might disagree with them, but I don't try to second guess them from my couch! I might protest, or dissent, but I won't call them names or spread seditious rumors to undermine them and our country.

Maybe I'm an exception. I don't think so. Republicans had a few wacko's during the Clinton years of the same kind, and Republicans were just as silent. I have to admit that we have taken remaining silent about sedition to a high art. Bless Lieberman for not remaining silent!

Are you one of the seditious? Or would you support a fight against sedition, against ANY elected official?

Nope, don't agree. We are, for the most part, responsible American Patriots who want a better place for our families to thrive. Just like the Republicans, we may or may not be Christian and we may or may not be in favor of Gay Marriage and Stem Cell Research and we may or may not be politically active.

There are just as many Democrats that piss me off as Republicans these days. I speak my mind when I need to... other times, it doesn't matter.

Lately, I just want to find a mountain far away from everything, build a house into the side of it and withdraw from the world.

Do I agree with everything the Republicans/Conservatives do? Nope, not at all... if I did, I'd be a Rep/Con myself. But I do know that we all have to live in this country together so somehow, we have to learn to get along.

No I don't agree, Republican politicians are only working for the well and the rich, they could care less about middle and lower income people. Has been that way for generations, Republicans give tax breaks to the rich, they don't think or vote for anything that has to do with relieving human suffering (not in our country anyway) and do not put any money into human services, so when republicans are in office community mental health, and community health suffers and who does that affect, lower income people who cant afford privatized insurance.

NOW I ASK YOU, WHO IS WACKO?

The Liberal Agenda

•attack American traditions, specifically Christian traditions and the traditional American family
•engage in "get-even" policies that support discrimination when it benefits historically disadvantaged groups
•punish and/or discourage achievement through taxation and fiscal policies
•use the rulings of the Judicial branch of the government as de facto law, irrevocable by anything short of Constitutional amendment or a future court ruling, thus bypassing the legislative process. Roe V. Wade is the most frequently cited example of "judicial activism". (48 million dead and counting)
•weaken the military strength and morale of the country by vilifying the practice of armed combat and hesitating to use force when it appears necessary
•use regulatory bodies over private enterprise to accomplish social goals and restrict competition (government, education, labor)
•establish secular and progressive social policy, including support for gay marriage, abortion, liberal drug policy, euthanasia and prostitution legalization.
•implement a foreign policy supporting the protection of human rights and multiculturalism through activism, social intervention and violence (social anarchism).

I'm finding that more and more modern day Democrats are Republican converts thanks to GWB. I would've thought them wacko if they didn't make the switch.

As middle of the road Republican, I think name calling, and dismissal based purely on party affiliation to be a much bigger problem than any ideological difference.
