It's probably a cold sore or a zit, so i'd try abreva or acne medication. If it doesn't go away, get it checked out by a doc.

well there is no no concept of what the red spot is.

If it's Sharpie...it will come off just sweat a lot.
a zit? cleanse the pore
a skin discoloration, no real way to solve it.
an allergy? make sure you understand where the allergy issue originates

Is it herpes?
Is it a rash?

There's a number of different things that it could be. I recomm4end washing your face completely, which I'm guessing you allready have done...many times. Thene maybe apply some sort of cleanser like Witch Hazel (I swear by Garlic and Witch hazel) Witch Hazel can be purchased in any grocery store or market from the hygenics isle...more than likely the same place as the band-aids and neosporin. If it's still a problem, see a doctor and have it investigated. This red spot could be the beginning of your future investment in the medical community. :P

I would get it checked....it could be an allergic reaction, an infected blemish, or herpes. You really need a professional opinion.
