and which episode did the fillers end?

It started on episode 136 but there were also some short filler episodes that took place before episode 136. Like the short arc about the Tea Country in episodes 102-106. They were never in the manga, but I guess you can't really skip them or you'd be confused in the first part of 107.

since America is no where close to the fillers there is no point in worrying about it. But again the big fillers start at 136. There are scattered eps throughout the series (not much though) and there is no end in sight. My sources tell me the fillers won't end till around episode 225. For all you kids out there, that means another season of fillers YAY!!

that's episode 102 - 106... after that is the fight between Naruto and Sasuke but that's not a filler... the filler arcs will continue on episode 136 up to episode 196... but the last episodes of that filler arcs are not yet out... it's only up to episode 194 but maybe there will be more too come not just 196... and I've heard rumors that it will be ending soon... maybe this August...
