The fact that Bush continued to sit in the classroom after being informed about the 9/11 attacks proves that he obviously felt guilty about something. Think about it. If he had nothing to hide then he would have gotten right up and done something. But he had to sit there and gather himself because he felt guilty. That is exactly why he continued to sit there. Suppose someone told your friend was dying, and you didn't believe it. Then suppose your friend really DID die. You would feel guilty, and would want to sit and contemplate. Well with Bush it was a similar scenario. Bush was obviously warned about the 9/11 attacks prior to their occurence, but did not take the warning seriously. So then when the attacks really DID take place he felt guilty about them, and had to sit (in the classroom) and contemplate. So I was just wondering if anyone else recognized the fact that Bush continued to sit in the classroom seems to prove that he was pre warned about the 9/11 attacks.

Bush stay in the classroom after he was told about what was going on. my view of it is that Secret Service told him not to move and His also did not was to alarm the kids in the classroom. Why would bush want 911 to happen?

First off... I' m not a fan of bush.

But we don't know that he was actually told before going into the class room or that he was told while in the classroom. All we have is a video without audio of a Secret Service Agent Telling Bush something.

Next... Even if he was told that about it in the class room... What would you have expected him to do? Run screaming from the class room shouting "OH MY GOD WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!"
No... He did what he thought was the best thing to do. He sat there and waited for the attack to end. Ask yourself this: "What could he have done immediately?" Get on AirForce One and fly back to washington just in time to be killed by an attack? Scare the sh!t out of a classroom of kids? NO! He did exactly what he needed to do. He kept the leader of his nation in the safest place posible so that when the dust was clear, the nation would have a leader... A voice... most importantly... a chance to retaliate. BEFORE you go casting judgement on the man... Think about what you would have done in his position. Would you have launched a nuke? Sent the world into a nuclear war?

Seems like a great plan... blow the enemy to bits... it's not like the Taliban had access to nuclear weaponry... but then again... they weren't supposed to have access to american commercial air-crafts either.

I'm not saying Bush handled the situation in the best way possible. What I'm saying is that he allowed his nation a chance at retaliation. Besides that... If you were president, and your country had just been attacked. Wouldn't you need a few minutes to decide how to retaliate?

Just a thought.

The info that Bush knew about the prospect of a terrorist attack on 9/11 already exists. a nationwide Intelligence Estimate briefing became placed on his table that specially stated bin encumbered became making plans to attack the U. S. and that airplans may be in touch. each and every individual is conscious this, it is basic information. i don't understand once you're a troll or no longer, yet do you quite imagine it is straightforward to benefit the video clip of Bush contained in the school room and ascertain what he became wondering or feeling, and not using a minimum of consulting him? imagine if I videotaped you at some random second in time for roughly 2 minutes, do you imagine i'd be in a position to come back to a decision precisely the way you felt, or what you've been wondering?

I'll bet that classroom had a lot of trees around it and was really hard to see from the air. I think he was scared out of his mind and was there on purpose. It's Katherine Harris' home town. Mainly older people. Quiet. Don't go outside until you get the all-clear from people you trust. I think he was listening for something. He, deep down, was uncertain. Don't move. Am I trembling. Must calm down. Just breathe...

He wasn't Pre-warned. the attack had just occured. Small children were in the room and there is no need to alarm small children.
The delay was under 2 minutes until he finished the story.

Put yourself in his situation. You, the leader of America, just find out that thousunds of your citizens have been attacked on American soil. I'm sure his inaction was the result of shock rather than guilt.

Agreed....however, the reason he sat for seven whole minutes, while staring like an idiot off into space was because he "sh*t himself".

That's just dumb. If he had advanced knowledge he would have not been stunned into inaction, he would have made it look good for the cameras.
