Why can't we enjoy simplicity especially in the corporate world? What's all the hubub with bureaucracy?

Oh, YEAH!
I WISH everyone in the business world would just relax and CHILL!
If I had MY way, we would all work in our pajamas or whatever we wanted and be seated in over stuffed pillowy chairs.
We could takes naps on soft beds at work and bring our pets.
We would all take turns, doing each others job to break up the monotony and get money from our boss WHENEVER we needed it.
We could go on vacation and work from the beach via telephone and laptop.
Get rid of so many numbers, codes, passwords, time sheets, and quotas.

The fact of the matter is that people gain importance by being able to accomplish things others cannot. Because of that, many make things entirely too difficult and, in fact, some companies today are paying extra for the Resder's Digest answers.

I think that people make their lives seem more difficult than they should be. They chose to work in a cubicle every day, so they need to either find positives about it or do something that will make them happy. Only you control your future and happiness.

Its pretty simple. Two rules: survive and reproduce. The only thing that makes it unnecessarily--and complicatedly, i might add-- difficult, is human want.

We can, we just havent programmed enough robots to do it all for us yet!
That and the fact that if robots were doing all the work, we would all be jobless, and the government would have a temper tantrum.

why not change the question for that and make it more proactive? it's your responsibility to make things simple and do what you can about it. blaming the situation will not help.
