Is there google chat in India?

It would be really helpful if someone from India would answer or if someone knows for sure.

There is a setting in google, when you set the country to be UK, google chat contacts dissappear. That's why I am wondering.

There is no limitation to google chat. Wherever you can find Internet service there you will find google chat. Internet service is global, hence google chat is worldwide.

Google is a common a chat server, its open to all in the universe. there is no specific chat for india in google.
