Wilberb, I do apologise for my Grammar. I am just a poorly educated Englisman who had just translated a document from Arabic into Urdu, so I must agree with you although English is my mother tongue my grammer is somewhat rusty.
Does the Philippines really have a population of 350 million. Phewwwww.

The chances are great as long as you got the right intentions, the right papers and the right people you connect with. Foreigners have their respective embassies in the country whose major task is to help their nationals. Just like any race coming to a foreign land without the right vision and papers, they are bound to be abused and exploited maybe and taken advantage. Being a Westerner, you are most likely to be accommodated well for this country is famous for accepting and welcoming all kinds of people from different culture. Good luck.

As a Westerner, I've been offered top dollar, Filipino standard of course, to work at Call Centers, be that as a trainer or as a manager. They'll pay in the neighborhood of 40 -45k if you know how to sell yourself on the value you'll bring to the company... It'll help if you know spanish...

Maybe you can be a part time actor for extra cash. Probably not lead roles but maybe for the minor ones. You probably wont even have to be a really good actor because they'll just want to cast any non-asian if there's a non-asian role. I cant tell you much about full time jobs though.

If you are a professional then it shouldn't be a problem, best thing to do is to go there and look around. Phillippines population is 350 million, they are not in need of unskilled workers.

Catering/textiles/-no problem-many jobs for western people. Sure the dream for locals is to work abroad and send money home, but they need different skills like everyone else.

Of course. Lots of Westerners work here. But I don't know if you could be employed unless you try it and prove you can.

You may be able to teach English. I am not sure that your grammer is up to speed though. Most likely it wont matter.
