Ok, i no this might sound crazy but it works 4 me: Get white toothpaste and get like a cotton ball or sumting that wont scratch it and wipe it from the inner part of the cd to the outside of the cd then wash the toothpaste off with water but dont use ur fingers on it cause ur fingers have oil and thatll just mess it up You should also check how clean ur play station is wipe the dust off it with a cotton ball especiall the laser part.

Once a disc is deeply gouged and damaged, there isn't much you can do. You could try one of those cd scratch repair systems, but if the data is lost from the damage, you can't get it back. It's gone.
You could check at a used game store, or look on ebay for the same game. If you have a Wherehouse music and game store in your area, try them. They have pretty good deals on used games and music.

Rub the disc repeatedly from the center to the edge, NOT in a circular motion. If you have deep scratches, you may be hosed. If you have a CD burner in your computer, you might be able to get it to do a disc copy. Sometimes it'll read a disc when something else won't.
Good luck, and may the Force be with you.
