How hot is to hot? I live in La Quinta Ca. which is near Palms Springs. Last sat. we hit 118 degrees. The hottest place in the country. I don't know if I can make it threw the summer. If I can it's beautiful the rest of the year.

I live in Arizona (Tucson) and my threshold for "too freakin' hot" is about 105 with low humidity...or about 95 with high humidity. Palm Springs area is insane-hot in the summer...I feel your pain. But, yeah, about mid-October we all remember why we like living in the desert southwest.

FYI, we've been averaging 104 since early June, with moderate humidity the last few weeks.

I get a kick out of these people in the northeast that freakout when it hits 95 degrees for more than a few days. Wimps. Then again, many of them don't have air conditioning.

I live in the San Francisco area and I'm spoiled by the weather here. The hottest it usually gets is usually around 85 degrees. Lucky for me cause I hate the heat.

It can get near 120 here!It doesn't even begin to cool down until the wee morning hours,and then it starts heating up again within a few hours!! I just stay inside and do all of my errands in the evening or over the phone!Thank God for my treadmill!

Yesterday it got up to 106 we were like woah well at least we are not in Texas or Cali!
