It doesn't have to be proffit oriented but could be strictly informational. I just want to help others and offer what you would like to see as a site.

i would like to see more websites that contain information basic electronics (components...not toys) in an easy to understand format...like a 'for dummies' just with less degredation in the title

Dude, I've seen a website devoted to what brand of tomato sauce celebrities used. I've seen a website devoted to how many people sneeze in each country on a hourly basis.
If you can come up with a unique website you should be given an award or something =)
