Why people love money and is it the most important thing?

Of course, it is important to have money. Not just for luxuries and pleasure, but in case of emergencies too, you need to have a chunk in stash. But you gotta remember that is not everyhting and making money shouldn't be the only motive in one's life. You should spend it, and spend it well....

People love money because it is a necessity for survival (pays the bills, puts food on the table) and pays for luxuries, like Internet service (don't ever try to pay AT&T with good intentions). Money is not the most important thing, but a means to get the most important things. There's an old saying "Money can't buy happiness, but it sure can rent it for a while."

Happiness is the most important thing. Money is the most important thing if the things that make you happy cost money! So I think unless you have found the secret to inner happiness then money is the most important thing. Although it shouldn't be.

Tryna figure that one out myself, how do you feel good about yourself? If one dollar could last you the rest of your life or you were given another but it made someones life a little harder? If we all could be smiles, that would be nice, but that just isnt how societies work : ( WHEN in Rome the saying goes however, what happened in Egypt shows what happens to an ignorant nation when caught without knowledge. The most recent example of this inequity is the natives of north america, said to be one of the poorest in the world. It pretty easy to go around lying about stuff and just not admitting when you are wrong, Its a hell of a lot harder keeping everyone in a state of not knowing things. Lets just say, that everyone that could go get a job went out and got one and they were way more qualified for the job. I will bet my dollar against yours that your head is shaved in a week and your out teaching all the bullshit that you believe with all your heart because its what grandaddy said. I met a cop who was trying to tell me that getting me a tylenol "wasnt his job" I said that it was, and it is...he just doesnt see it yet because he was apparently fifth generation skin head, and wasnt mourning the loss of god if you know what i mean ; ) Here we have someone who links the smell of the bible with the smell of money and the way that he smells, just got use to it and doesnt know he smells like the little pink papers, (actually they are quite big) My girlfriend who is only indian when it came to getting a boy friend, was charged three times with D.U.I thats drunk driving, her lawyer actually told her that people like us dont belong in jail, as I sat waiting to go to court last month two youth were talking about the charges that they were facing and mentioned an indian that they went and did these crimes with and said " Oh he's going away for sure" and one of these youth's were wearing a dog collar, I said " Well at least you know the rules."
Some people just dont understand their own bullshit, let me tell you, oh, yeah money and why people like it...well lets just say it is what makes you good and blameless. I got sick of working for my self esteem and just started going down and what did I find? A dollar that would last me for the rest of my life.

money may not make someone happy but it is a necessary evil in this world- that is if you want a comfrortable life that is, and not be dependable on someone whim to give you something you want.

They love it because of the way it makes them feel. They believe if they buy enough stuff, they'll feel worthy or important. It's just a replacement for what they're really after.
