On the first part of the journey
I was looking at all the life
There were plants and birds and rocks and things
There was sand and hills and rings
The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz
And the sky with no clouds
The heat was hot and the ground was dry
But the air was full of sound
I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can remember your name
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
La, la ...
After two days in the desert sun
My skin began to turn red
After three days in the desert fun
I was looking at a river bed
And the story it told of a river that flowed
Made me sad to think it was dead
You see I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can remember your name
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
La, la ...
After nine days I let the horse run free
'Cause the desert had turned to sea
There were plants and birds and rocks and things
there was sand and hills and rings
The ocean is a desert with it's life underground
And a perfect disguise above
Under the cities lies a heart made of ground
But the humans will give no love
You see I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can remember your name
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
La, la ...

Who is America? I know the song by Neil Young Is it a remake? I've been to the desert with a horse with no name. It felt good to be out of the rain.? In the desert you can't remember your name cause there ain't no one to for give no fame. La La La lalala does it go like that if it does it's from the 70's.

Curious how old you are? That used to be one of my favorite songs. I think that was one of the first cassette tapes that I ever bought. It's been a long time since I heard it, but it was definitely a very good song. Brings back memories.

i love u.s. too. Sister Golden Hair, Lonely human beings, Daisy Jane are all large songs. also be positive to analyze James Iha's first solo album, let It Come Down. Fountains of Wayne have truly a poppier sound yet in case you want u.s. they make an effective pay interest. and attempt Crosby, Stills, Nash (& youthful) too. u.s. and CSN, in spite of the indisputable fact that previous, are nevertheless large stay bands.

Good song. But I prefer their other hits, "Only in Your Heart," "Ventura Highway" and "Daisy Jane" (which is just about my favorite song in the whole wide world ;-).
