Warrantless wiring tapping? Erosion of civil liberties? Crumbling economy? No decent health care? Ailing public schools?
Invading Iraq was about the worst possible idea in my lifetime and capturing Saddam has just given him a soapbox. The trial is his new venue for speechmaking.

If we had not done so, then it is possible that the terrorists could have organized better and made another attack like 9/11. In that case, yes, everyone in America has a better life due to us invading Iraq. I can say for a fact that the Iraqi's have a better life now none the less.

Yes. It is the beginning of the reformation of Islam, and revolution throughout Islamic countries as their citizens take their governments to task for supporting terrorism and keeping them in the dark for several centuries. My children will be safer, my family will no longer have to fear the creeping attempts of Islam to take over the world by murder, enslavement, or forced conversion.
My family will never return to Islam. Those who leave the religion are under sentence of death. Islam will no longer be able to apply that rule without ruining their tenuous position in world opinion.
Yeah, my life is a lot better and safer. Go join then try to leave in the midst of an Islamic country rather than in the States.
I'll be counting the years.

Well there has not been another 9/11 so I guess I have to say better for some people. As for me it hasn't affected me one way or the other, except that stocks seem to be up a bit.

no, I wish it all would have just been a bad dream and we'd gotten a democrat instead, gas prices wouldn't be as high as they are now, the price of everything else is going up as well because of this

no, if anything it's gotten worse because my country is in a war i don't believe in; and our leaders are taking advantage of the situation and breaking laws against their own citizens.

no. there was no effect on me personally but its embarassing to call myself american when i hear things like that. i know that i dont represent my country or anything but its still kind of shameful.
