Pull my daisy. tip my cup. all my doors are open. Cut my thoughts. for coconuts. I'd like to give you more insight, but I am currently busy right now shooting apples off my friends head. If you want to chat you can usually find me drinking at Vesuvio's which is right next to City lights books in SF.

One interesting thing about Kerouac is that he was a political conservative and a friend of William F. Buckley. He despised the counterculture he helped create. He was a man of many ironies.

i absolutely adore kerouac... he was a nonconformist and a hell of a writer even though english was his second language...
i like the fact that his books are autobiographical... it gives so much more insight into his thoughts... i don't have to interpret anything... it's just there... "i love love"...
even though the actions and words of his characters are not innocent, their search for IT, their identity, faith is so innocently ambitious... they're like children looking for their christmas presents... that's why the characters are so endearing...
i want to read his lesser known works, but they are difficult to find...
i know i'm no literature critic, but i had to add in my two cents about kerouac... he's awesome...
