Got loads-
The Matrix- makes you think and it has a lot of relevance in philosophy and theories.
Black Hawk Down- the best cinematography ive seen in years
LOTR Trilogies- I loved the books and although a lot was cut out- i think it was done justice
Forrest Gump- because everyone can relate to it because most people have been in the same- or similar- incidents that Forrest went throughout his life, and its a really really good movie
Pirates of the Caribbean- both movies are fantastic, and theyre funny as well

Stand By Me. Because it was taken from Stephen King's novel 'The Body' it had a brilliant cast and alot of meaning's in the story line of the movie about friendship, death, families and why people are judged. The storyline is basically about four boys embarking on a journey to find a body of a missing boy for their neighbourhood. very heart warming and funny at the same time. it also sad to watch it because River Phoenix's character dies in it and 8 years after the movie was made he died in a night club... you may have heard of his brother who acted in 'Gladiator' as the evil emperor.

My other has to be 'Sleepers', because it made me cry watching the movie couple times. some children getting abused in this boarding school place for catholic children, as they get older they seek revenge and they knee on each other for support its an excellent example of how friends should stick together. I need to read the book to this movie.

'The Lost Boys'. Because it is the best vampire movie ever made. it makes me laugh and has a good story line and brilliant cast for the screen.

The Godfather Part 2.

To see two of america's greatest actors working on screen, yet not acting together is phenomenal. The way it charts the rise of the family and its collapse is just beautiful. The violence fails to detract from the human heart of the film. It's a real masterpiece.

CAN'T BUY ME LOVE

It's an late 80's or early 90's American teenage romantic comedy based in high school.
I know there are so many around but this was one of the first ones i saw and i love it. It's one of those pick me up films that make you laugh and cry and leaves you feeling a lot better.
Well written, scripted, and acted.
It starred Patrick Dempsey and Amanda Peterson

Love Actually - great feel-good movie about love in all its aspects, romantic love, love for a child/parent, forbidden love etc...

Also Four Weddings and a Funeral - I hated Andie MacDowell's acting, but absolutely loved the WH Auden poem recited by John Hannah's character at the funeral "He was my north, my south, my east and west, my working week and my Sunday rest, my noon my midnight, my talk my song, I thought that love would last forever, I was wrong...."

Gladiator. Aside from the amazing settings and superb music, there is real depth to the main character, and I can identify with him because I'm a family man as well.

Serendipity:

It's so hopelessly romantic and there are just all these things that keep happening and you curse and swear whenever Kate and John keep getting separated. Besides, that guy from Cupid is really great as John Cusack's friend....

They're a great cast!

les miserables...because it has such a wonderful plot and i love movies set in foreign countries like that and "brotherhood of the wolf". plus i love liam neison (sp?) and geoffrey rush (sp?) they are amazing actors. i've also read the novel by victor hugo and it just makes it more special to me i guess. my mother used to watch this movie when i was younger and i never liked it because i didn't really pay attention to anything that wasnt a cartoon when i was seven but then she made me watch it with her one day and i stopped watching cartoons and traded them for things like breakfast at tiffany's, les miserables, fried green tomatoes, and ladyhawke. i also got pretty big into musicals like bye bye birdie and grease.
