So far there has been no cure to get rid of diabetes. Only thing is u learn to keep it under control by exercise, diet and medicines. Check your blood sugar levels regularly. As long as it is normal there will be no problem. If u r careless then it will lead to many complications. But cheer up! After all you have to do nothing more than a minimum of 45 minutes of brisk walking, diet food and medicine. All the best.....

Currently there is no known cure for diabetes although research is making advances. You can control diabetes with diet, a combination of diet, exercise and oral medications or with a combo of diet, exercise and insulin. Sometimes if you have really stubborn diabetes you must use diet, exercise, oral meds and insulin. The biggest thing to remember is that you can control it. Learn to test your blood glucose levels at home. The doctors office can help you learn this, get educated. There is no reason you cannot live a full life because you are diabetic.

there is no cure for diabetes at this time, Ive been a type 1 insulin dependant diabetic for 19 years, the closest they have come is pancrese transplant.....diabetes is a progressive disease, meaning it never gets better it simply progresses to the next stage.....you can control diabetes therefore lessening the negative effects on your body, also w type 2 diabetes if you stick to your diet & exercise program & lose weight a lot of times you can in a way "put off" full blown diabetes, but no you cannot permentaly rid yourself of the disese. unfortunatly even if you prolong it (unless they find a cure soon anyways) you will eventually get diabetes & have to deal w it fo rthe rest of your life.....in fact its shown that even type 2 diabetics usually end up on insulin further on down the line, like I said it never gets better it just kinda plateaus out for awhile

No, people, there are cures, it's just that doctors won't promote them because they can't make any money off them. They'd rather you just accepted the condition and spent a lot of money on blood sugar checker thingies and insulin, and special foods, that only make you sicker, etc. Disease is very profitable.

Once your diagnosed with diabetes, it cannot be reversed. My father has type 2 (non insulin dependant) diabetes, and he will livw with it the rest of his life. All I can suggest is eat well, exercise regularily, and take your meds as prescribed. All you can do really.

The diabetes illness may be reversed simply by embracing healthful changes in lifestyle. The diet program must comprise of fiber rich as well as lots of vegetables and fruits. Eat four to 6 meals spread out equally throughout your day. Start working out routinely. Supplements can certainly be helpful as well. Flax oil, a multivitamin with minerals, bitter melon, cinnamon, asian ginseng, as well as chromium can be helpful.
