First, they would not consider most of it music - just noise. Today's musicians are either sexy, brainless models that someone promoted as having "talent" or a bunch of uneducated street thugs who are gang members or one step away from being in jail. They have no clue how to put together a structured, melodic, purposeful string of notes, nor do they have the intelligence to appreciate the wonderful creations of the Classical Masters. I don't mean to insult anybody, but really, most good song writers are never seen, the trash that we are subjected to as "today's musical stars" are puppets with no brains or talent what so ever.

they will die again since many of the new music like heavy metal, rap and those noisy ones just hurt ur ears that is not music, they will probably will like like new age instrumental music.
I was thinking the same thing... in this time is few people that actually compose music like them.. i haven't seen a new piece of music for piano or guitar that is classic ... yes Yanni ,di blasio and those new age are good but they are not the same style.
We live in different ERA and Different Styles.. but the oldies will always be good.
Wish people compose more music (without lyrics) just to make the soul rejoice and make u have goosebumps not headaches and lose your hearing

By today's music I guess you mean pop music? They were all innovative composers for their era so I imagine they would be open to inventive musicians like Moby or Beck. (Or whoever is inventive musically these days.) In their day they were considered pop figures as well. What's sad/funny is these geniuses today would probably work in the movie industry composing score for sex scenes or fight scenes and not in "classic" venues like opera or symphonies.

umm well i don't think Beethoven would care cuz he wouldn't be able to hear it. But i think they would probably go crazy or something from todays music. so they probably wouldn't be too happy with todays music i think.

If they were put into our generation they probably would think nothing of it, it'd seem normal to them....of course if you put them in a time machine having been surrounded by THEIR generation, they'd think it was awful awful noise.....
