Yes, because hate is not the opposite of love...hate is just something you feel because you don't want to love the person but you know you do and you don't like it...indifference is the opposite of love. When you feel indifferent towards that person, that's when you know you don't love them anymore and you are truly over them.

Love and hate are both the extreme ends of emotion. When u really love someone, you're brought to an emotional high, you're up there in the sky.. if something that u love and trust can bring u crashing down to earth.. it brings out an extreme emotion.. hate.. so for u to really hate someone, u must have really loved him. its possible, but doesnt happen all the time..
the opposite of love is not hate. Its indifference..

Yes it happens most often with people close to you.
The problem is not that they are good or bad.
They are just as they are.
But you are a very passionate person. You love whole heartedly and you hate with full vengance. You see you love becuase you know people close to you, but you hate them for some of their attributes or actions that you do not approve of.
We simply have to learn to live harmoniously and not attempt to change everybody in everyway to suit ourselves.
Can you hate a person you do not know? I do not think so.

yes. cause you plant so much of trust, love and respect witht person you love. you feel that even if the entire world rejects you, the person you love would never let you down over anything or anyone. but when they change, when the changes hurts you, the only thing you could feel is hatred. as when you are mad,you don;t think about the person. you avoid them. and this leads to hatred, an anger to restrain yourself of being connected to the person you love ever again. after all when you love someone, you are not only allowing them to love you, but also the power to hurt you..

love and hate have been thought of as being polar opposites, but i beg to differ... there's a very thin line between love and hate... in both cases you have extreme emotions, but they result from the same thing... strong expectations and desires... many people think hating something means you strongly dislike the thing, but it just means that they managed to piss you off like a mother trucker... we mistake indifference for hate... because indifference means you don't care one way or another... you ahve to care about something to hate it...
so i can honestly say that i truly love my boyfriend more than anything in this entire universe... yet, i can also hate him at times because the pain he gives me is worse than anything else in the world...am i making sense? writing coherently is not my best skill...

The person I love is the person - I hate - sometimes - because - if that person tries to reduce that hate feeling - i can love that person still more and more.

I would opine that the person closest to me that I love, also has the key to my piss-off buttons..I am most vulnerable to that person , and to know the power that I have ceded to her, gave her the right to twang my strings. Hopefully to help me choose the more agreeable path..
Then there's the theory that "if I didn't have my buttons out there, they couldn't be pushed..."

Yup. There is a very thin line between passionate love and passionate hate, and sometimes you kinda dance on both sides of this line.

It is obvious, because you always expect too many things from the person you love. When your love doesn't full fills your expectations you hate him/her. Love without expectations is true love, and this love is without hatred, jealousy, possessiveness.
Love never demands anything, it is just it. And in its true form, it is the GOD.

Yes it is possible.coz when you love someone you don't actually love his whole being or his very existence, you love one or more than one quality of his.Same is true for hating someone. So when you love someone you love a special quality of him,and simultaneously you can hate him for the bad quality of him.
