Israel attacked Lebanon because of the Hezbollah guerillas. Lebanon is pampering Hezbollah guerillas attacking Israel by croosing the border. Thus, Israel has no choice but to run after this guerillas who return to Lebanon. The principle applied here is hot pursuit where the offenders are pursued even when in another territory.

Israel is waiting to an excuse to attach Lebanon, for that she sent two of it's soldiers in side the red line in Lebanon, Hezbollah who is defending the Lebanese borders and it's a governmental foundation captured the soldiers then Israel started attacking Lebanon ""to release the two soldiers"".
so she start to attack the civilians and Innocent people.

Ok, I'm going to try and keep it short....there is this terrorist organization/ guerrilla fighters known as the Hezbollah's...They kidnapped 10 and killed 8 Israeli soldiers...They still have two Israeli soldiers in their hands...This was pretty much the spark of the war that is going on now... Israel is bombing Lebanon, because the Hezbollahs are on the Lebanese side of the Israel/Lebanon border. I hope I answered your question! :-)

this question is among the most dumb that I have encountered on here, and I have encountered very many. where has this person been? does he read? does he watch t.v.?....i find the question contemptible and non-deserving of an answer except to scoff at his ignorance.
Boob's answer deserves the booby prize in that Hezbolah is a terrorist organization composed of terrorists and legally a part of the lebanese government...do terrorist members of Hezbolah support fellow terrorist members of Hezbolah? And, there is no proof that Lebanese other than members of Hezbolah have fired rockets into Israel...no one has made such charges yet.
It is definitely true that Israel has been constantly attacked since its inception and has made repeated concessions to the Palestineans, etc. in hope that a separate autonomous Palestinean state would be formed, one that would live in peach with Israel. Every concession Israel has made has just led to more harm to them from terrorists. At some point, they ought to consider using tactical nuclear weapons on Syria and Iran...the rest of the Arab world with scream, but will be duly warned...enuf is enuf.

because hesbolah terrorists killed 7 soldiers, and kidnapped two, then ran across the border into Lebanon to hide behind the skirts of its women and little girls Then they lobbed a few missiles into the towns nearby from their syrian stocked bases in Lebanon. So, Israel started shooting back.Did you really expect them to just let the hesbolah get away with terrorising Isrraeli citizens?

Hezbollah uses the Lebanon border and supports the terrorists who attack Israel and Lebanon has fired many missiles at Israel. Basically, it comes down to the fact that Israel has been putting up with their crap forever and now they are sick of it.
