This is either because I have been running all day or I have been drinking milk all day...litteraly.Now I have not had milk by itself in A WHILE..i mean like 5 years or something. Now a day ago I had nothing in my house but milk, and since it was the only thing to drink, I drank it all day. This means from 8AM to 9PM, and after all of that, my esophoges, how ever you spell it...the tube connecting from the mouth to the stomach, started hurting reallly bad, like a burning senstation but very dull. It's almost like all the acid from my stomach rose up and burnt it. Could that be it, acid reflex? and if u know a solution please tell me!!!

Its probably the milk. As we age we are supposed to be weaned from milk. People just really shouldnt drink it....but here's a fact for you:

Certain foods and lifestyle are considered to promote gastroesophageal reflux. Foods high in fats and smoking reduce lower esophageal sphincter competence, so avoiding these tends to help, as well. Fat also delays emptying of the stomach- Milk and milk-based products contain calcium and fat, so should be avoided.

One most common myth is milk will ease the acid reflux. So many people drink the milk before sleep, which leads to cause the acid reflux in sleep. Drinking milk is a quick fix to the problem but not the solution of it. In fact, milk has a rebound action, which stimulates more acid secretion causing acid reflux.

Wow, no idea. Except for the fact that if you drink a lot of milk in a short time, it typically makes you ill.

It could just be your bodies reaction to all of the milk you had and it may just have to settle with time.

Sorry I couldn't be of much help, but that's all that I really know about milk problems.

Love as always,

Sebastian

Okay well it seems to me that if you were running you should've been drinking water...The milk is not good for you if your excersing. It is the summer and you could've gotten dehydrated. Also, did you check the experiation date on your milk carton? That happens to me sometimes...i dont realize its past due. I wouldn't be worried unless your still feeling the pain and uncomfortableness...If you are then go visit your doctor...you might be lactose intolerant thats a lot of years w/o milk...bad for your bones too!!

Best wishes

because you are drinking milk all day long, milk causes acidity on an empty stomach, you can take chillied milk(ice) in the morning one glass only to remove your acidity. take jeera water instead of plain water, take meals regularly, bye
