Things to pack:
Bug repellent
fishing pole/net
tent (DUH!!!)
Flashlight
Gun
Bullets
Pocketknife
Cellphone
Things to remember:
Do NOT leave food out near your tent. It will attract bears and other animals. If you are going to throw it out do it somewhere FAR AWAY from your tent.
When hunting, (If you are going to be hunting) you need to stay in a group for two reasons:
1: If a bear starts chasing you you have someone to help.
2: Usually hunters shoot at any moving thing, so be careful you dont look like a deer to another hunter!
Good luck!

"First of all, what are some good things to cook and snack on while camping?"
If you don't have a camp stove, anything that can be cooked on the fire is a good idea. Also things that can be prepared ahead of time and not be refrigerated. Jerky, trail mix and a few chocolate bars are always a good idea. Bring water.
"Second, what are the items i need for the camping trip?"
Tent, sleeping bags, sleeping mats, sun screen, a hat, bug repellent, warm clothes, blankets, folding chairs, fire starter and roasting sticks, rain gear.
"Third, what are some secrets or useful hints for camping?"
Make sure you have good sleeping mats and warm clothes. Nothing makes camping suck more than being cold and tired.

My favorite place to go camping is the Marriott! And to eat, most of the room service menu is good for me!
Sorry! My hubby and kids love to go camping. Just not me!
Sunscreen, bug spray. Bottled water. Torch/lantern. Marshmallows. ...... oh, I am not so good at this. I never need all this when I go "camping"!!!!!

1. We always take antipasto food to nibble on and beef stroganoff is always on the menu as it is a one pot dish
2. DON'T FORGET WASHING STUFF, we always did and suffered the consequenes for it, also take mosquito repellant and a shovel is always handy
3.Have two different esky's. One for your drinks and one for food as you are always going in to the esky for a drink thus reducing the life of your ice. This is the biggest tip I could tell anyone.

If you are going to be in a place where there might be bears or anything (which there most likely will be) then make sure to NOT leave out ANY food or ANY food wrappings of ANY sort!!!!!!!
