If done correct..yes it is accurate. We in the hospital use the same tool to detect pregnancy in patients. This will detect the b-HCG,which is present only in urine during pregnancy. Just to be sure, read the instructions first on the package before using the kit. There are ways on how to read whether it is positive or negative. If in doubt, blood test (for confirmatory) is next. But nevertheless, pregnancy kit is already reliable.Hope this helps. :0

Yes, if you follow the directions. If they're wrong they will give a false negative reading (not pg when you really are) but that's usually due to either testing too soon or not using 1st of the morning urine. I've never heard of a home pg test kit giving a false positive reading.

I am not sure how accurate but they are pretty accurate. I know about 4 years ago I saw one that was wrong but that is unusual. A good old fashioned blood test is the best way to go.

I have used them 4 time times each time they said I was pregnant and one time the Dr told me they are the same type of test they do. the best is a blood test but these type are I think about 99% right

yes, but if you want 100% accuracy, get a blood test
