In a college computer class where MS Word was taught, a student taking her final exam asked me how to change the font. That girl took and failed the class 3 times.
Another dumb one was when some students asked me how to change the paper in one printer after they had just watched me do it in another (same kind of printer).

Due to this being in the Newborn and Baby section, I will answer it this way:
The most stupid question I was asked was asked by a stranger who saw me pushing the stroller. The woman crouched down, looked into the stroller at my child and said: "Is THAT a boy or a girl?" when the baby was dressed all in blue, and a stuffed truck was laying next to him.
My response is "THAT is my son, so I am guessing HE is a boy" and then I walked away.

the stupidest question I have been asked, Is that a boy??? Hmmm let me think, earrings, pink, Yes of course it is a boy with some serious issues!!!

i was sent an e-mail by someone asking me if i was mad at them... but here's the weird part, i just got the e-mail tonight (it was written 18 hours ago... ) but i saw the person at the store earlier and we talked like any other time... and she never asked me in person if i was mad... or even mentioned her e-mail.
i hate it when people use e-mail to ask things and then pretend they never asked the question when you see them in person... grrrr.

When I'm clearly in physical pain, and people ask me if I'm ok. That is stupid question, becuase if I'm on the ground in pain, it's pretty clear I'm not ok.
