Coincidences keep happening to the point that you find out that your future is actually something you planned subconciously in your past. One day you have a complete realization that every moment in time was planned by you. Every movie, book, and song you now know somehow came from your own mind at some point in time because that was your desire. Reality as you know it falls apart and now is directly influenced by every subsequent thought you have after this moment. You try to forget, but a fact so great seems impossible to forget. You are stuck in time, and noone or no thing seems separate from your thoughts. Are you scared to death? What would you do? You have power to create the future, and yet, anyone you imagine talking to will be like talking to yourself, any situation you imagine you will know you created. Does this freedom of power to create to this level creep you out? What will you do? Okay philosophers.. look forward to your answers.

I don't know that this is necessarily a philosophical question. I'd say it sounds like a case of obsessive-compulsive disorder, which can be treated by medications after diagnosis by a medical practitioner. I actually think life is quite simple: We are here to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. I'm an ordained evangelical minister, so if I can help you work through some of the things you might be struggling with, please feel free to drop me a line at the links below.

in a way we are... I believe we have been making up a reality in our minds that is all our own. Ask yourself what is reality? You will see you have either no one answer or too many answers in which case none are correct. It is possible that we are stuck in time; time is compiled of an endless sequence of specific moments in which, for that moment, and only that moment we would physically exist forever. In that, we must finish one moment to be able to go on to the next; so then it would not be possible for us to be stuck in time, which is always moving forward and is never-ending.

Sounds like "Lathe of Heaven".

I suggest you watch the movie or read the story.

In the meanwhile, I am happy either way. If others are feeding me thoughts that make me think then someone cares enough to feed me. If i am doing everything then I am a god. Either way i come out better for the knowledge.

People like you give me headaches. Life is a dream, that's all. We try to keep it from becoming a nightmare. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. That's all.

Do you get migraine headaches? If so, flashbacks are caused by migraine headaches. Avoid triggers like red wine and cheeses.

I don't think so--even I wouldn't be warped enough to make up my ex-husband.
