You will probably say yes, but here goes. It is 1:15 in the morning. I have just come in from my neighbors house. It has been hot as hades this week over 100 degrees. So to save some money everynight I have been running a drop cord from my neighbors house to mine. So I can run some more ac. They are rich and can afford it.

Of course it's not wrong, I mean they can afford it and they are rich.

And since they are rich, they pobably already know about it.

It isn't wrong if your neighbors know you are doing this but it doesn't sound as though they do. I know that it is also hot here and I am also trying to conserve my electric as the bills are totally outragous. I understand how you feel but I don't think that you realize that even rich people have bills and they have their standard of living. The more money you have the more bills you have because you spend more money.

Since it seems that you are doing this for "economics" then consider this:

1. Economically it's saving you a few dollars a month.

2. In the long(er) term, it will cost you money, since you MIGHT be discovered. And you'll be railed against and talked about.

3. In the long(er) term, your personality will be discovered, since you can't denounce other thieveries, and others will know you really can't be trusted.

So is it OK to sell your future self for immediate gratification?? I think not.

If your neighbor knows about it then it is ok but if you are doing it without them knowing about it then that is very wrong. That is only because if they don't know about it and find out then they will think that you are invading there space.

Yes, it's wrong and it's illegal. Be careful. If your neighbor catches you, you could have the cops called on you.

Hey man. It might be wrong. But if i was in your position I would do it. It's to damn hot to not have any air. Even if it's stolen air. I bet it somehow feels cooler doesn't it? :-)

Yes it's wrong. You are a thief. Maybe they can afford it but can you afford to lose your honesty?

It's wrong if you don't tell them about it. If you haven't told them then it's being sneaky and stealing. If you tell them and they ask you to stop then do so.
