You'd have to wipe out greed too, cause that would contribute to alot of psychopaths.

All you are doing is dancing around the issue of killing.
You are playing the time game. A guy stabs you and you shoot him immediatley you call it self defense. He stabs you and you run home and get a gun and kill him it is revenge. Either way you have killed someone. What if you don't have your gun on you but you know where you can get one; should you let the man go free because you were illequpt to defend yourself? That guy will think from that day forward if he sees an unarmed man he should just go ahead and stab him. Pretty soon, everybody will think that. Eventually everyone will be packing guns and we're back in the Wild West. People survived the Wild West either by killing the other guy first or by running away and joining society. The thought is that in society there is a basic law, don't kill. That is what you are dancing around, killing, universally right or wrong. Focus on that one for a while and see it if this question really matters.

I truly think that revenge comes from a deep dark-seated place of desperation and an inability to communicate properly. You know, the same kind of person who is deprived of kindness from an early age, or a person who didn't get breast-fed or didn't connect with their mother properly usually is quick to revenge. It's reactionary. A person or country that is quick to revenge is reacting to deep feelings of inadequacy. I know this feeling and recognize it when it comes up inside of me. But those people or leaders who don't know WHY they are, or WHY they don't respond with an intelligent knowing will continue to feed the violence with this innate sense of desperation...and the cycle continues. It is possible to teach peace. But this will only happen when society "hits rock bottom." Sorry to say, it looks like we are going there pretty fast.

I think so, I think the world would be a better place. Too bad self-defence is far from anything that is really occuring today, it's all from vanity and pride. People who can't master their own native tongue should not be in charge. ( Nuke Ya Lar).
