can it still exist?

Hey, I remember you! :)

To answer, your question, I'm pretty sure that there can be actual lust after marriage; its just not that common.

Being together with the same person for 13 years is a milestone in my book; congratulations!

For most people, their lust is gone after being with time; (growing up, having and taking care of kids, never having time to one's self).

Passion might exist, under the sorrows of everday life. To re-open the passion, im sure that after the kids are taken care of, than the passion will re-ignight.

I know you only wanted men to answer but after dating a guy since i was sixteen and then being married to him for alittle over a year I can say that losing that Lust feeling is what killed our relationship. I am now remarried and I realize more then ever how important it is to keep the passion/romance alive. The problem in my past relationship wasn't that HE didn't desire me. I stopped desiring him...for whatever reason...I still can't put my finger on it. I'm actually happy now though. My husband now likes to try new things and actually makes an effort with me. When we are apart we send each other sexy text messages via cellphone or sexy pictures. We buy sexy clothes to wear for each other....we do spontaneous things. If you feel like you and your husband have fallen into a boring routine then you should try new things to fix that ASAP...because it really can destroy a marriage. I know that sex isn't all there is to marriage but it is an important factor...especially for younger married couples. I am 23.----Got to love the guy up there JON who said 33 years and still in lust....i hope my husband says that about me one day.

well i guess it would depend on the marriage! I have been married for almost 6 years and the fire whent out after year 2 we still do all the other stuff we uset to do he just dont want sex that much any more i personaly think it has to do with the stress of having responsibilty. we have alot more bills now and by the time we were married 2 years we had 3 kids. yet i knew a couple who were marred over 60 years and they still had lots of "fire" even at their age. (they have sence pasted)

Well, I am 32 and never been married but my Great Grandparents were married for 60 years before my Grandfather passed away in 1981 and my Grandparents were married for 56 years before my Grandmother passed in 2004. I will say its really up to that couple. I know once I say I do that will be it for me but, I will do anything to keep it going (yes I'm a helpless romantic).
