This tragedy goes far beyond two weeks ago, people. The arab world has been in conflict with Jews (I say Jews because this is the religion of the people that invaded Palestine before there was such thing as an "Isreali State") has been full force since the 1940's, and that includes conflict with Lebanon. Do some research please.

And I don't know how to say this in a respectful way, but about 3/4 of these answers have information in them that comes from Fox News...I know this because I have heard the exact same phrases in ateast the last two days. Don't consider yourself an expert on the middle east because of a little leisurely news watching.

Bush and Blair say to you on the news "We all want peace, so we are going to the source of the conflict : Hezbollah". Like I said, this is not the source of the conflict. They just want to distract you from the fact that your tax money pays for the missles hitting apartment buildings and orphanages across the middle east.

It's more complicated than that. Hezbollah started it, and now the people of Lebanon are paying the price. It's Hezbollah's fault. If they want to antagonize Israel than they should pay the price, and often civilians are killed. Don't point the finger at Israel, point the finger at the antagonizers...Hezbollah.
