The best way to sleep is in your own bed with nothing but God on your mind and in your heart.
A nice puppy dog beside you doesn't hurt either. LOL

There is no one set best way, but it's probably best to try to avoid sleeping on your back. If you have a tendency to be congested you may want to try sleeping with your head elevated.
You want to sleep regular hours as much as possible. That means a regular bedtime and a regular time to get up. Minimize staying up past your bedtime and especially oversleeping.
Depending on your age and general health you should try to get 8-9 hours of sleep a night. More if your schedule permits, but you should generally feel rested when you are awake.
If you are dozing off during the day then you aren't getting enough of the right kind of sleep.
Sleeping on your side or stomach is alright if you can sleep comfortably that way. Most people move around some when they are sleeping. If you are sharing a bed with someone that needs to be taken into account.
Snoring or violently tossing about can really upset a relationship with any bed partner.
Hope this helps.

Best way is to have a nice bedroom, away from dust and sound.Have scenary of cool mountains or pleasant locations on the wall. There should be no light or only dim light. The bed should be in East-West direction, the head should point out East and leg to West.Have a mattress neither too hard or too soft.Have some perfume you like in the room or soft music.Wash your legs with cool water before you sleep.Read some paragraphs fromBible or religious book and say prayers.Close your eyes and forget your problems/worries and you will have good sleep.Good night.
Cotton bed covers, cotton clothes improve quality of sleep in summer.

the best way to sleep are
1) Give yourself "permission" to go to bed. As hard as it may be to put away your "to do" list, make sleep a priority. You'll thank yourself in the morning.
2) Take care of yourself. Cut back on alcohol, caffeine and smoking, all of which can make it more difficult to fall and stay asleep. Regular exercise can help relieve tension and stress.
3) Unwind early in the evening. Finish chores and run errands early in the evening so you can clear your mind and relax before bedtime.
4) Keep regular hours. Go to bed around the same time each night and wake up close to the same time each morning to keep your biological clock in check.
5) Create a restful place to sleep. Be sure your bedroom is cool, quiet and dark, and that you are sleeping on a comfortable, supportive mattress and foundation. A bed that's too small, too soft, too hard or too old can rob you of sleep.

I like to sleep on my left side, after a warm bath, curled up in my comforter. And the best way to sleep is definitely with a cat on top of your head...seeing as that is where my cat for the last 9 years seems to locate himself after I'm out of it....he's crazy!!!!

Personally, I think the best way to sleep is a way that allows you to breathe and not put too much pressure on one certain area of the body otherwise when you wake up, you'll be sore and uncomofortable. Not good at all.

Don't eat too late... drink a hot cup of tea, maybe a relaxing warm bath, play some soothing music, bury all your problems under your pillow, think about the good things you've accomplished that day, and be thankful you've made it through that day alive!

On your stomach, that's what my doctor said, because the sides ache the sides of your body and the back gives bad posture.

With your eyes closed, snuggled up tight to your sweetie.
Holding your baby.
Somewhere soft, curled into a comfy blanket.
