Ok. I love reading Maxim magazine . I have a little problem though . I am in a relationship with a BBW who loves me a lot ,and I love her the same . Sometimes it bothers me to look at some of the models and read the articles and ideas that are in the magazines. I consider myself an average guy with raging hormones. As an engaged guy who happens to be with a BBW , I don't get as much support as I would if my girl was a model or if I was making over 30k a year . Do you think that these magazines affect more guys in my situation , or am I only one of the few. I would appreciate any constructive comments and/or direct me to websites that can help me out with this issue . Thanxx !!1

It sounds like you have just been spending WAY too much time looking at the perfect, airbrushed ladies in Maxim, Stuff, and FHM. I think those mags are pretty cool to read but I have common sense enough to realize that all of those pics are touched up and the girls in those mags earn a crapload of money to keep their bodies looking that way. Their bodies are their careers. If all we ever saw in magazines and on TV where Average "Wal-Mart" type people then NOONE would buy magazines or watch TV. I think we all love seeing beautiful, perfect people...because let's face it...we really never see them in real life. I happen to be a thin person with a fairly athletic figure but I realize that women are born with all different body types and men are attracted to all different body types. Don't feel bad for loving a certain body type....that's your thing and you should embrace it.-----oh yeah my husband reads those magazines and he thinks it's hot to see me reading them too...
If you reading them is bothering your woman or making her feel insecure you should consider not looking at them anymore to make her happy.

When you have just eaten your favorite meal, don't you still think about other things on the menu?

Occasionally looking at or thinking about other women is the same thing, it doesn't matter as long as you come back home without doing any taste tests.

Those magazines are all about fantasies, the average guy would not want to bother with the reality of high maintenance women.

I'm sure there are lots of men in your situation. However, the fact is, the target audience of those magazines is usually Men in their Mid 20's or so. Most of the guys who read it can only dream of the women in those mags. They are the women that most men dream of. Its what sells magazines, and that is what they are in business for. If you feel like it reading those magazines is in some way cheating, its not. I wouldn't make it a habit of telling her how hot the latest cover with jessica simpson is, but if you enjoy reading it, keep it up. just read it during your private time.
