Yes you can accept yourself. You're Transgendered. You are either a Cross Dresser, or a Transsexual. You might want to get the opinion of a Licenced Social WorkerTherapist who specializes in Gender Identity Disorder issues early on to get a better idea of just exactly where you are within the Transgendered spectrum. As far as dating men, I would go to Transgender friendly bars or join Transgender support organizations with the idea of finding out where you might be able to meet an "admirer" (a male person who readily seeks Transgendered Male to Female persons like yourself) for the purpose of going out on dates.
****A word of caution here though, read on..****
1) There are a small number of very shifty men out there who might seek to rob you, blackmale you, rape you, or beat the **** out of you because they are homophobic and panic. Beware of strangers, and know who you are dating. Ask to see their ID and look at it closely in a good light to see if it isn't a forgery. Never go out alone with a stranger on a first date to some remote secluded place or have an evening sexual encounter with them.
2) Then there are several men who are infected with serious life threatening or life maiming STD's. Some don't know that they are infected, while there are others that don't give a s**t about the people they infect while having anal sex. ALWAYS have them wear condoms hon. NEVER have unprotected sex with casual partners. AIDS or HIV+, and HEP C are for keeps and eventually FATAL for you.
3) It is not unusual for many "admirers" to be married to another woman and are on the "down low", out to have what they might percieve to be "Gay sex" with a male that dresses as a female. Don't plan on them to continue going with you on a long term monogamous relationship and carry you off into the sunset. Many "admirers", single or married, don't like to be held to a one girl.long term relationship....I know that this may sound very descouraging to you about even considering going out with an "admirer", but they won't beat you up or kill you because they just found that you're Transgendered. Who knows? You just meet "Mr Right" rather than "Mr. Right Now".and live hapily ever after. Those relationships do exist.

There's nothing to do but be yourself. Guess you've tried to be straight but not sucessful?
Have you considered a sex change to make yourself "permanent"...almost.
Yours is a problematic question. Have you the experience of being on a date and going steady?
If its only a date, see no point telling them, just be yourselves and enjoy the time together. Go as far as the limit allows...lol. By being rather conservation on certain activities...lol. Thats solving your problem half way?
Problem would arise on being serious comittment? Well guess if love is there and if he's ready to accept you...it either make or break or linger on wondering?
how to tell him? sooner or later he'll know and thats the time to tell him and let him know.
if you dont tintend to hurt them and before the relationship gets deeper...the first time is the hardest but would be easier as it gets on but not the emotional heart break? Thats the price we've to pay dear!
How to tell him? The time will come...not to worry...you'll know when it comes. The straight and frank way would be good and rid the guilty conscience?

There is plenty of admirers out there, Generally older married men who'll want a night with a CD thinking it doesn't make them gay.
