The man is just trying to keep us down...literally and it's time to do something about it. There's going to be a protest down town tomorrow, you can come if you want...there will be hot hair balloons =D

There's nothing to "believe." Science isn't about belief, it's about the scientific process, which means that an experiment has to be proven many times over before it can even begin to be considered fact. Gravity is caused by the attraction between masses--in mathematical terms, F = (mMG)/(r^2). G is the gravitational constant, m and M are the two masses in question, and r is the radius between the centers of the two masses. If you want to believe that gravity is a hoax perpetrated by crazy scientists, you let us know if you float off the planet into space.

Yes I believe in Gravity. I agree with Einsteins general description of Gravity being the warping of Space-Time caused by Mass.Mass is the property of a body that causes it to have weight in a gravitational field. A related thing is matter which is that which has mass and occupies space. Note the relationship between the different properties. Much can be inferred.

I get it " keep us down " are you bored?
I am that's why I spend time answering something like this
Really it's not the scientists, seriously though, kind of, it's because of time and is involvement in the acceleration formula. Because we are kept from following the free-fall path of the space time curvature by the electronic orbitals of mass on earth and because time is going by because we sense it as a phenomena of our consiousness we have to also experience acceleration. Time can be thought of as a part of a constant force when a mass is held stationary in a changing space-time "field". When a constant force is applied to a mass you get acceleration which is what einstein said gravity is equivalent to --like a rocket ship with a constant engine thrust.
As Wayne said "Shaaa"
Would there be gravity if nobody showed up?
Would there be anything?

I used to follow the crowd in a naive belief in gravity

but now I stick it to the scientists and the man
I say, show me some gravity, and then I will believe in it

Yes, gravity is the force of nature that makes old women's boobs look like grapefruits in a pair of tubesocks. If you have ever seen a pair, you would believe in gravity too!

ROFL... dude gravity is a very real force exerted on us all created by the earth's rotation. If there was no gravity, we'd all be floating. Unless you're in a pool or you're high, you're probably "grounded".

Yeah, we scientists and engineers made it up to keep everyone "down". I suppose you all want to be "up"beat?
