Yes, though there is a significant aspect of enlightenment that Kant misses. Enlightenment is also mans emancipation from outmoded, traditional explanainations of things. Enlightenment is the acceptance of scientific theory and its corresponding wordview (which is usually called [secular]'philosophy').

Enlightenment is man's release from his self-incurred tutelage. Tutelage is the incapacity to use one's own understanding without the guidance of another. Tutelage is a way of learning simple things when those things are needed ... it does not preclude your native intelligence.
