i know it sounds brutal but kicking their *** (or the threat of) is the best and only way. if the person is bigger or scary, you have to take legal measures. you can file in small claims court for any loss under $3000. the application is only $40 and it summons them to court! this is a great ta tic to scare them into giving the money back. they probably will give it back without it going to court. if they do so the court date is canceled.

You should never loan friends money with the expectation of getting it back. Consider it a gift to a friend in need. If they have a good concious they'll pay it back to you someday. However if you do lend money to a person with conditions as when to pay it back, as difficult as it may be its best to confront the person as tackfully as you can. They know that they owe you money. If they are truly a friend they'll do their best to make it up to you. If not, then you're hanging out with the wrong people.

Just be straight with whom ever it is. If they are ignoring you, then you should find a way to see them in person. If they are just making up excuses about it, find a way to rationalize with them. Depending on how much money is owed see if you can set up a payment plan.

Never let that person borrow money again. I hope it's not a lot. . . How is the person being difficult though? Are they flat out telling you they wont pay you? or are they putting it off with excuses? It depends.

If you asked before and they ignored you ....then if it not more then 200 dollars just consider the person done and write them off. If they are being an asshole over giving you back money that you kindly lent them you dont need them as your friend anyway ...what aggravation good luck

Keep bothering them over and over. Dont expect to get your money back. But if you do consider it a bonus. Good luck. I have two deadbeats of my own :)
