I think viewing what other bakeries are doing/have done, as well as the various cooking magazines and shows to come up with a blend that is your unique idea.

Personally, it's the SMELL of the bread, not the display that gets my foot in the door.

To attract more customers, don't you want to have window displays? ( or advertising, nice smell, discounts, free samples, etc?)

Or are you trying to get customers ALREADY IN THE STORE that are viewing the baked goods to make a purchase ( or purchase more?)



those 2 versions of your question get very different answers.
