More than a few times. When confronted denied it. but after a fight he admitted to it.

The 'more than a few times' is what I find troubling.
Since that's a clear indication to me, that he doesnt respect you.
And without respect, you have nothing. Consider yourself lucky to know these things before you take your relationship any further. He will continue to break your heart. He is not worth your precious time. There are real men out in the world. And he is NOT one of them!

If he cheated on you more than a few times, you have a bigger problem than just the fact that you are just now finding out about it.
First: If he has cheated on you multiple times, regardless of how long ago it was or how long it took to find out, you need to ask yourself: do I really want to be with someone who disrepects me like that. That is an important question because of the next point I have to make.
Next: You should probably check with your physician to be sure you do have not any sexually transmitted diseases. I'm sure he will try to assure you that he used a condom... but let's be honest... can you trust the word of someone who lied to you about his fidelity.
Protect yourself: physically and emotionally... he's not worth it.

I think it depends on how long you are married, if you have any children, and if it was a one time thing or a relationship. If it was in the past and he admited it and you have children then i would try to work it out but on certain conditions. One is that you know where he is at all times and he answers his cell. That is the only way you will trust him again. good luck.
