I'm currently writing a book and I've been doing a bit of research, but I can't find the name of this "act". What is it called when a woman's clitoris is cut off by force? I know it is done in the Middle East or something, but is it called? A female circumcision? I'm sure it's called something else.

It is called female genital mutilation. Apparently there are different forms of this depending upon how much is removed. It is a common practice in parts of Africa.

It's called female circumcision or Female Genital Mutilation it happens in Egypt, and as far as I remember there are four forms of FGM. Don't remember the names.
Personally,I think it's barbaric!!!

I'm not sure what it is called but yea it is done in Africa mostly to discourage women from having sex with anyone other than their husbands because it hurts so bad.
