Now it gives the jews more land to occupy. Next will be the tanks, then the bulldozers, then the military bases, then the jewish settlers, you wait and see. And if they can somehow massacre Iran too, that would be the grand jackpot. Meanwhile the US gets to build them more planes and guided missles, while quietly sucking Iraq dry.

They call Hezbollah terrorists but they just want Israel to get out of the territories it has stolen. You'd fight back if a bunch of jews moved into your house too. If the jews would stay on their own property, everybody would leave them alone. The jews are the ones terrorizing that area, only they have lots of fancy US made equipment, so it's a beautiful thing to the Bush gang.

That's the way I read the news anyway.

No. But a Lebanon with all its Hezbollah members in little tiny pieces is of more benefit to Israel than a prospering and stable Lebanon with its Hezbollah members alive and well.

Hey Lebanon and Israel will both be more stable when Israel takes out Hezzbolah. You go ahead and reveal to them where Hezzbollahs military targets are I am sure they will be more than happy to take them out for you.

The kidnapping of the soldiers was planned to co-incide with the G8 summit which was going to talk about Iran. The Iranians and Syria organised the kidnapping of these soldiers to take the heat off Iran, this seems to have worked in Irans favour at the moment.
Lebanon should NOT be shielding terrorists, I have no sympathy for a government that wants to support terrorists.
ISREAL - GO GO GO. Kill the hezbullah and Hammas leaders, Bomb Syria and nuke Iran. Good on you Israel, God be with you.
Shalom.

no, Lebanon was never going to be the military threat of isreal's other neighbors such as Syria, Egypt, etc. Having things like western tourism and those dollars tends to quiet down a populace needing foreign investments and a renewed sense of pride from is glory days as a cosmopolitan locale. (Beiruit USED tyo be called the "Paris of the Middle East". Now the tourists are all going to Cyprus...on military airlift choppers.

Why does;nt Lebanon speak for it self.Hezbollah is the reason they r under attack but nothing jut justifies killing innocent not by Israel & not by hezbolla. As far as israil goes they r nothing but puppets of US serving a purpose. I am sure onces they have served there purpose they will be discarded like Afganis were.

hazbollah is using civilians like all terrorists groups to hide behind. isreal wants lebanon at peace, but lebanon is to scared to take on the 6,000 hazbollah even though lebanon has over 70,000 in their military. lebanon is a weak country and even their cabinet and government has the terrorist group as members. the only way for lebanon to have a demactratic country which they want, is to kill the hazbollah terror group.

Either keep up on what's going on or stay out of it. What blunt honest said is correct. They even set themselves up right next to a military instillation so it got hit while taking them out. They do these things just so uninformed people will dislike Israel.

Yes, gneral chaos is in Israel's best intrest. With this they can blame other countries, hoard resouces (especially water, the new oil) and people will take their eyes off the Palestinian conflict.

Maybe if they are busy rebuilding their cities they won't have time to mount attacks on Israel. Just a thought.
